THE ENTERPRISE
Founded in Linz in 1959 by 3 partners, Dr. Franz-Konrad Berger and Dir. Johannes Kapeller founded the traditional company in 1991 and turned it into one of the largest animal feed companies in Austria.
LIKRA Tierernährung is a 100 % subsidiary and the core of the LIKRAGROUP. With 2 modern production sites, ensures the nationwide supply of livestock feed in Austria both through private agricultural traders and in the integrated direct business of poultry and turkey feed.

THE PRODUCTION SITES
LINZ
Production focus: GMO-free feed for all types of livestock as bulk material and bagged goods, production of mineral feed and highly concentrated premixes, warehousing and shipping of production and trade goods at home and for exports. Linz is also the location of the administration.
MARCHTRENK
Production focus: Conventional as well as GMO-free compound feed and concentrates for poultry and pigs, production and vacuum packaging of finely powdered special products, production and filling of various special products in small containers.
THE SALES STRUCTURE
A nationwide distribution network of more than 200 private agricultural traders ensures the austrianwide supply of LIKRA feed.
The specialist support of the agricultural traders is provided by highly trained LIKRA sales advisors.
They look after customers and farmers, calculate feed rations and provide technical support
in the use of LIKRA products. Special advisers are responsible for looking after farmers in
the integrated special feed area, such as turkey and poultry feed.
