LIKRA Animal Nutrition expanded its management team at the beginning of 2024. Dr. Thomas Kickinger joins as the Managing Director for Austria, strengthening the management of LIKRA. DI Harald Kögler will henceforth focus his efforts on his role at LIKRA West.
The agricultural economist from Upper Austria has been with LIKRA Animal Nutrition since February 1, 2024. In recent years, he worked for AGES (Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety), last serving as the Managing Director and Director of the Federal Office for Food Safety (BAES).
Before that, Thomas Kickinger gained extensive experience as a department head at BAES and in the field of veterinary medicine at Richter Pharma AG, as well as a National Expert at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in Parma, and in the Standing Committee on Animal Nutrition of the European Commission.
Additionally, since 2014, Dr. Thomas Kickinger has held a teaching position at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
